You can put this solution on YOUR website!
8-2x + 6 = 4x - 10
Add the constant terms on LHS.
14 - 2x = 4x - 10
Adding '2x' to both sides of the equation, we get
14 = 6x - 10
Adding '10' to both sides of the equation, we get
24 = 6x
That is, 6x = 24
Dividing by '6' on both sides, we get
x = 6

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
8-2x + 6 = 4x - 10
-2x-4x=-10-8-6
-6x=-24
x=-24/-6=4 ans.
Proof:
8-2*4+6=4*4-10
8-8+6=16-10
6=6
