You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A triangle is made from a rope. The sides of the triangle are 25 cm, 11 cm and 31 cm. What will be the area of the square made from the same rope
---------------
The longest "side" must be the hypotenuse.
So the legs are 25 and 11
---
Area = (1/2)*11*25 = 137.5 sq. cm.
==================================
The length of the rope = 11+31+25 = 67 cm
---
Divide the length by 4 to find the length
of a side of a square made with the rope.
side = 67/4
--
Then area of the square would be (67/4)^2 = 280.56 sq. cm
