Question 337936: What does closure property mean?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Say you have two elements 'a' and 'b' in set S. If you apply some operation to them (say addition), then that set is closed under that operation if the result is also in the set. This property must be true for all values 'a' and 'b'.

Ex: The set of integers is closed under addition because adding any two integers always gives you an integer.
