You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28c%2B1%29%2F8=c%2F4 Start with the given equation.

4%28c%2B1%29=8c Cross multiply.

4c%2B4=8c Distribute.

4c=8c-4 Subtract 4 from both sides.

4c-8c=-4 Subtract 8c from both sides.

-4c=-4 Combine like terms on the left side.

c=%28-4%29%2F%28-4%29 Divide both sides by -4 to isolate c.

c=1 Reduce.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer:

So the solution is c=1
