A+=+20%2A12
A+=240sq.yds.
Now we need to convert square yards to square feet.
How many square feet are there in 1 square yard?
3ft = 1yd Now square both sides.
9sq.ft. = 1sq.yd.
So, for every one of those 240 square yards in the area, there are 9sq.ft. so we just multiply 240 square yards by 9sq.ft/sq.yd to get:
