Question 336504: Suppose that the interior angles of a convex pentagon are five consecutive numbers. What is the measure of the largest angle? Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 180(n-2)=sum of the interior angles of a polygon. n=number of sides
Let the consecutive numbers be x, x+1, x+2, x+3, x+4.
5x+10=180(5-2)
...=180*3
...=540
5x+10=540
5x=530
x=106
x+4=110 degrees the largest angle.
