y%2Bx=xy Multiply EVERY term by the LCD xy to clear out the fractions.


x=xy-y Subtract y from both sides.


x=y%28x-1%29 Factor out the GCF 'y' from the right side.


x%2F%28x-1%29=y Divide both sides by x-1.


So the solution is y=x%2F%28x-1%29
