logrithms are used to help determine decibels:
log 1 = 0 decibels
log 10 = 1 decibels
log 100 = 2 decibels
log 1000 = 3 decibels
the log determines the increasement concerning the decimal system......
as you see, the number of decibels increases!
Just stretch this idea and you will do fine with an intro and a conclusion.
