I assume you mean 10 P 4 (where the P is elevated above the two numbers). I'm going to denote it as P(10, 4)


P(10,4) = (10!)/(10-4)! = (10!)/(6!) = (10*9*8*7*6!)/(6!) = 10*9*8*7 = 90*56 = 5040


So P(10, 4) = 5040
