The vertices of triangle FGH are F(1,1), G(3,-5),H(6,0). Find the coordinates of the vertices after a reflection over the x-axis.

 

The reflected points are the red ones

F'(1,-1), G'(3,5), H'(6,0).

The reflection of a point over the x-axis is formed by changing the 
sign of its y-coordinate (leaving the sign of the x-coordinate as it is).
Notice that the point H and the point H' are the same point. Points
on the x-axis are reflections of themselves in the x-axis. 
(Similarly, points on the y-axis are reflections of themselves in the y-axis).
