You can put this solution on YOUR website! The determinant = b^2-4C
= (4-4/-2=0
The parabola touches the x-axis at one point, x=1
You can see this if you factor:
y=-(x^2-2x+1)
y=-(x-1)^2
y will be zero when x=1
