You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The problem is asking "What is left over after
I divide 45 by 2 2/3 as many times as I can?"
2 2/3 = 8%2F3
45%2F%288%2F3%29+=+%283%2F8%29%2A45
%283%2F8%29%2A45+=+16.875
This is telling me that 2 2/3 cups goes into 45 cups
16 times with .875 left over. What fraction is .875?
875%2F1000+=+35%2F40 (divide top and bottom by 25)
35%2F40+=+7%2F8 (divide top and bottom by 5)
There is 7/8 of a cup left over
