Question 33430: Could you please help? I think I may have it but not sure...Find the measures of the angles in each triangle. 102 degrees+(38+xdegrees)+x degrees=180 degrees
I came up with 102+x+(38+x)=180 2x + 140=180 - 140 -140 2x=140 so x=70?
can't figure this one. 3x+5x+x
Is it x=33.3

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
102+x+(38+x)+x=180
2x+140=180
2x=140
x=70 degrees
3x+5x+x
=9x

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
102+(38+x)+x = 180
102+38+2x = 180
140+2x = 180
2x = 180-140
2x = 40
x = 40/2 = 20 degrees
102;(38+20) = 58 degrees; 20 degrees are the measures of three angles
3x+5x+x = 180
9x = 180
x = 180/9 = 20 degrees
20 degrees; 5x = 5(20) = 100 degrees; 3x = 3(20) = 60 degrees are the measures of three angles
