You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Orbit of Venus. If the average radius of the orbit of Venus is 0.723 AU,
then how many years does it take for Venus to complete one orbit of the sun?
:
According to Kepler's third law of motion, the ratio T%5E2%2FR%5E3 has the same
value (1) of every planet in the solar system.
T is the number of years it takes a planet to orbit the sun.
R is the average radius of the orbit of the planet measured in astronomical units(AU).
therefore
T^2 = R^3
T^2 = .723^3
T^2 = .37793
T = sqrt%28.37793%29
T = .61476 yrs to orbit the sun (about 224.4 earth days)
