This is usually a mixture of two different distribution, such as heigths of people, there is the distribution for men and for women, so if we dont separate the genders, there will tend to be a bimodal effect

This is the uniform distribution, where all events have equal probability of occuring. Such as tossing a die, the probability of 1 or 2, 3 etc each has 1/6 chance of occuring

Many distributions are positively skewed (have long tails to the right)
