You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sashi started a business investing rupees 75,000.After 3 months, sikha joined with a capital of rupees 60,000.If at the end of the year total profit was rupees 16,000,what was sikha's share it?
..
sashi invested 75000 .
shika invested 60,000 after 3 months
..
total profit for the year = 16,000.
12 months profit 16000
3 month's profit will be 1/4 *16000
=4000.
Sashi will get this amount plus the shared profit for 9 months.
the ratio of investment = sashi/shika = 60,000/75000
=4/5.
16000-4000= 12,000 is to be shared in the ratio of 4/5
shashi's share will be 4/9 *12000
=5333.33
..Shika will get 5/9*12000
=6666.67
Shashi will get 4000+5333.33
=9333.33.
.
CHECK
6666.67+3333.33= 16000
