You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I have no idea what the 2 is doing. I am guessing it is a power, like: +log+x=+log+%28x-3%29%5E2+?

+log%28x%29+=+log%28x-3%29%5E2+

Raise every term to power 10 (if log base is 10), and we get:

+x+=+%28x-3%29%5E2+
+x+=+x%5E2-6x%2B9+
+x%5E2-7x%2B9+=+0+

From here, factorise if you can. If not then use the quadratic formula instead.

This is all assuming that the 2 is a power. Even so, the method is still the same.
