You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The area of the rectangle is
A=L%2AW
L=140%2B2W
A=%28140%2B2W%29W
The area of the square is,
A=s%5E2=60%5E2=3600
Equate the areas,
W%282W%2B140%29=3600
2W%5E2%2B140W-3600=0
W%5E2%2B70W-1800=0
Factor,
%28W%2B90%29%28W-20%29=0
Only the positive result makes sense here.
W-20=0
W=20ft.
L=140%2B40=180ft.
