-2x-4(x-2)=3x+5
I used distributive property for the -4, multiplying it by both the x and the -2. ?????? This question is from textbook Saxon Algebra 1
You can put this solution on YOUR website! I can't quite see how you got +3 but here's how it should go: Apply the distributive property. Combine like-terms. Add 6x to both sides. Subtract 5 from both sides. Divide both sides by 9. Simplify.
