You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Of 100 students, 37 play an instrument, 45 play sports, and 11 do both. What is the probability that a student neither plays an instrument nor plays sports?
----
P(instru or sports) = P(instru)+P(sports)-P(both) = [37+45-11]/100
= 71/100
P(not(instru or sports)) = 1-71/100 = 29/100
