Question 329793: I was given a perfect graph for this problem however I am not sure if there:
Is a solution?
Is there infinitely many solutions?
There are no solutions?
Again the problem was:
Solve the system of equations by graphing then classify the system.
3x - 9y = 36
2x -6y = -8
Thank you for helping me. :o)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x - 9y = 36
2x -6y = -8
write the equations in the general form y = mx +b
..
9y=3x-36
y=1/3x -4
..
2x-6y=-8
6y=2x+8
y=1/3x +4/3
..
1/3 *x-4 = 1/3x+4/3
1/3*x -1/3*x =4/3+4
.. The lines have same slope but different intercepts.
So they are parallel lines and do not intersect.
so there is no solution
