You can put this solution on YOUR website!
q = n + 6
Value = 25q + 5n
Value = 25(n+6) + 5n
= 25n + 150 + 5n
= 30n + 150
------------
PS It's nickels

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let q = number of quarters she has
Let n = number of nickels she has
given:
(1) q+=+n+%2B+6
------------------
25q = value of quarters in cents
5n = value of nickels in cents
From (1):
25q+=+25n+%2B+150
25q+%2B+5n+=+25n+%2B+150+%2B+5n
25q+%2B+5n+=+30n+%2B+150
The total value in cents of the nickels and
quarters is 30 times the number of nickels
plus 150 cents
