You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the number be x
Five divided by the difference of a number and 7 equals the quotient of 10 and the sum of the number and 6
5/(x-7)=10/(x+6)
cross multiply
5(x+6)=10(x-7)
5x+30=10x-70
100=5x
x=20
