7 minutes is 420 seconds. Light travels about 186000 miles per second.
186000*420=78,120,000 miles
To be specific, light travels 299,792,458 meters per second in a vacuum.
This translates to 186282.4 miles per second. This precision is not needed for the problem though. Just thought I would throw it out there :):)
