"Bored" is a condition of ennui. I'm not sure how to cut such a thing into sections. However, I suppose you mean "board." The problem is, you have given the overall length of the board at 12 feet, and you have given the length of the sections at feet. So I'm at a complete loss as to the antecedent of the pronoun "it." Whatever is it for which you seek the length?
