Find the derivative of 4%2Ae%5E%28x%5E3%2B1%29
This requires the chain rule. To put it simply, the chain rule is the derivative of the inside times the derivative of the outside.
What is the outside?. It is 4%2Ae%5E%28x%5E3%2B1%29
What is the inside?. It is x%5E3%2B1
Derivative of outside is just 4%2Ae%5E%28x%5E3%2B1%29
Derivative of inside: 3x%5E2
Now, multiply them: 3x%5E2%2A4e%5E%28x%5E3%2B1%29=12x%5E2e%5E%28x%5E3%2B1%29
That's it.

The derivative of e^u is e^u*(inside derivative), which in this case is the derivative of the exponent itself.

y=4e^(x^3+1)
y'=4e^(x^3+1)*3x^2
y'=12x^2*e^(x^3+1)
