Question 32837: I have no idea if i solve this in a (a + b)(a - b)=a^2 - b^2 way.
But the problem is to simplify in simplest form:

(The squrt of 3 minus the squrt of 5)*(The squrt of 3 minus squrt of 5)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You would solve that in the same type of way, yes. Use FOIL- multiply First terms, Outside terms, Inside Terms, and Last terms.
(sqrt(3) - sqrt(5))*(sqrt(3) - sqrt(5))
Applying FOIL, we get the following:
(sqrt(3)*(sqrt(3)) + (sqrt(3)*(sqrt(5)) + (sqrt(5)*(sqrt(3)) + (sqrt(5)*(sqrt(5))
Now simplify:
(sqrt(9)) + (sqrt(15)) + (sqrt(15)) + (sqrt(25))
3 + 2(sqrt(15)) + 5
3 + 5 + 2(sqrt(15))
8 + 2(sqrt(15))
