What is 5x-4[x-4]=6+3x how did u get to 5x-4x+16=6+3x


5x-4[x-4]=6+3x

Because when you remove the bracket by the distributive principle,
you multiply the red -4 by the green x, getting -4x and also you must
multiply the red -4 by the purple -4 as well, and so you get a +16.
