3 times square root 6 divided by the square root of 2
3[sqrt(6)]/sqrt(2)
Multiplying both numerator and denominator by sqrt(2) produces:
3[sqrt(6)]/sqrt(2)*(sqrt(2)/sqrt(2))
= 3sqrt(12)/2
= 3 sqrt(4*3)/2
= 3*2*sqrt(3)/2
= 3sqrt(2)
