SOLUTION: Divide:
y^2-25/y divided by y-5/y+7
I know the first step is to multiply by recp.
y^2-25/y * y+7/y-5
Now I am confused. Please help. Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website! ((y^2-25)/(y))/(y)/(y-5)/(y+7)
We note that (a/b)/(c/d) = (a/b)*(d/c)
So:
((y^2-25)/(y))/(y)/(y-5)/(y+7) = (((y^2-25)/(y))/(y))*((y+7)/(y-5))
= (((y^2-25)/(y))/(y/1))*((y+7)/(y-5))
= (((y^2-25)/(y))*(1/y))*((y+7)/(y-5))
=((y^2-25)
