perimeter = 2*(L+B)
perimeter = 2*(x+x+2)
=2*(2x+2)
=4x+4= 28
add -4
4x+4-4 =28-4
4x=24
divide by 4
4x/4 = 24/4
x= 6 meters the width
length = x+2 = 6+2 + 8 meters
