Question 327289: The secound angle in a triangle is one and a half times the measure of the first. The third is 15° more than half the first angle. Find the measure of each of the angles in the triangle Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let x be the first angle
1.5x is the second angle
x/2+15 is the third angle
x+1.5x+x/2+15=180
3x=180-15
3x=165
x=165/3
x=55 degrees is the first angle.
1.5*55=82.5 degrees for the second angle.
55/2+15=27.5+15=42.5 degrees for the third angle.
55+82.5+42.5=180
180=180
