Average age of of 8 men P (say)
Total age of 8 men is then 8 x P years
When replaced with two women, average age becomes P + 2
Given, P + 2 = [(8 X P) - (20 + 24)+ S]/8, where, S is the total age of two women.
=> 8(P + 2) = 8P + S - 44
=> 8P + 16 = 8P + S - 44
=> S = 44 + 16 = 60
Hence, Average age of two women is 60/2 = 30.
