You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you plug in x=3, you get 2%2F%283-3%29=2%2F0 but you CANNOT divide by zero. So this is why you CANNOT plug in x=3. We say that x=3 is not in the domain of 2%2F%28x-3%29 (ie it's not an allowable input).
