SOLUTION: I have a piecewise defined function to graph:
f(x) = {-1 if x<-1}
{1 if -1<=x<=1}
{-1 if x>1}
I get three lines that overlap so I know I'm wrong!

: I have a piecewise defined function to graph:

{1 if -1<=x<=1}
{-1 if x>1}
I get three lines that overlap so I know I'm wrong!
Thank you very much! This question is from textbook College Algebra
You can put this solution on YOUR website! You don't get overlappiing lines because the three
conditions for "x" will not allow it.
Graph a horizontal line at y=-1 for all x that are strictly <-1
Graph a horizontal line at y=1 for all x that are between -1 and +1
Graph a horizontal line at y=-1 for all x that are strictly >+1
There should be no overlapping of these line pieces.
