You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Rewrite 25 s 5^2.
(5^2)^(2x - 1) = 5^(5x + 1)
5^(4x - 2) = 5^(5x + 1)
Since we now have the same base 5 on both sides, we simply bring down the exponents and solve for x.
4x - 2 = 5x + 1
Can you find x now?
