Question 324230: what makes rational expressions different from polynomial expressions?
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Rational expressions assume that "RATIOS" (i.e., FRACTIONS!) are involved. With polynomial expressions, you have only polynomials, like ax^3 + bx^2 +cx +d, etc.
Does that help???
