4 goes into 4 one time. 1 times 4 is 4. 4 subtracted from 4 is 0. Bring down the 6. 4 goes into 6 one time. 1 times 4 is 4. 4 subtracted from 6 is 2. Bring down the 6. 4 goes into 26 six times. 6 times 4 is 24. 24 subtracted from 26 is 2. Bring down a zero. 4 goes into 20 five times. 5 times 4 is 20. 20 subtracted from 20 is zero -- you are done.

Move the decimal point straight up. Your quotient is 1.165
