You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"y varies inversley with x" means that y=k%2Fx where 'k' is some number.

Plug in x = -12 and y = 5 to get 5=k%2F%28-12%29 and solve for k to get k=-60

So the equation is y=-60%2Fx. Now plug in y=10 to get 10=-60%2Fx, multiply both sides by x to get 10x=-60 and divide both sides by 10 to solve for x: x=-60%2F10=-6

So x=-6 when y=10
