You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let T be the amount of 30% solution and E be the amount of 80% solution,
1.T%2BE=10
.
.
30T%2B80E=50%2810%29
2.3T%2B8E=50
From eq. 1,
T=10-E
Substitute into eq. 2,
3%2810-E%29%2B8E=50
30-3E%2B8E=50
5E=20
E=4
Then from eq. 1,
T%2B4=10
T=6
.
.
.
6 ounces of 30% solution and 4 ounces of 80% solution.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
first method is allegation rule

30% 80%

50%

80-50=30 and 50-30=20

ratio=30:20=3:2===3x+2x=5x
ans is 3x=6
2x=4

5x=10
x=2

second method is
let ounces of 30%=x
and ounces of 80%=10-x

40%x+80%(10-x)=50%10
40x+800-80x=500

x=6
10-6=4
