Same has 6 kids, so each kid received 1/6 of his farm. One of the kids Lisa divided her 1/6 of land between her four children. So (1/6)/4. This can also be written as:
(1/6)*(1/4) (dividing is the same as multiplying by the reciprocal)
Now you can solve:
(1/6)*(1/4)=
1/24=
0.04167=
4.167%
So each of Lisa's kids own 1/24 or 4.167% of the farm.
