| Question 32284: I am desperate i have no idea how to graph this
 3x+y=5
 -2x+3y=4
I can only get the first equation wich is y=-3x+5 I can graph this.
But i cant come up with the second one. But i think it is y=2/3x+4/3.
Can some one please help me graph it i cant fuiguere it out.!!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! It is not necessary to translate the second equation to a slope-intercept form. You can simply take the equation "as is", -2x+3y=4 to find three value of tuple (x,y) so that it satisfies the above equation.
Since the euqation is linear, it will produce a staright line. Use two of the determined values to draw the line (for the equation) and use the third pair for verification purpose.
 For example: x=1 makes y=2; x=4 makes y=4; and x=13 makes y=10
Plot two pairs of (x,y) on the graph paper and join them to produce a straight line. Verify that the third pair goes thru the same line.
It is as simple as this. Good luck.
