Question 322619: An aluminum can has a volume of 250 gallons. What is its volume in cubic feet?
I believe I correctly answered this as 250gallons *.1337ft cubed = 33.425
so the volume is 33.425 ftcubed.
Next I need to use that volume (33.425ft cubed) to express the height(h) in terms of the radius (x)
I believe the formula would be h=v/pix^2 so
h=33.425ft^3/3.14x^2 I am not sure how to solve this or what is meant by express h in terms of x
Thank you so much for your help

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To continue ....
h=33.425ft^3/3.14x^2
h= 10.644x^2
