You can put this solution on YOUR website!
LEt the price of sugar be x
Let the price of Rice be y
3x+2y=3.25
2y=3.25-3x
y=1.625-1.5x (subsitution)
Second set:
2x+2y=2.50
Subsitute for y:
2x+2(1.625-1.5x)=2.5
2x-3x=2.5-3.25
x=0.75
y=1.625-1.5(0.75)
y=0.5
Hence, the price of single kilo of sugar is $0.75 and the price of single kilo of rice is $0.50
