You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve using the addition method
3/7x + 5/9y = 27
1/9x + 2/7y = 7
-------------------
Eliminate fractions by multiplying both eqns by 63
27x + 35y = 1701
7x + 18y = 441
Multiply by something to get the same coeff for either x or y. I'll do x
27x + 35y = 1701 times 7 --> 189x + 245y = 11907
7x + 18y = 441 times -27 --> -189x - 486y = -11907
----------------
+189x + 245y = 11907
-189x - 486y = -11907
--------------------- Add
-241y = 0
y = 0
------
(1/9)x = 7
x = 63
