You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a triangle have the sides of length 6 and 9. what value could the legth of the thrid side be?

The sum of any two sides of any triangle is greater than its third side,

Let the third side be S

Then

1. 6 + 9 > S or S < 15

2. 6 + S > 9 or S > 3

3. S + 9 > 6 0r S > -3

All three triangular inequalities are met if and only if 3 < S < 15.
