Solve the first one for y:

2x+-+y+=+4
-y=-2x%2B4
y=2x-4

Substitute %282x-4%29 for y in the second equation:

++2x+-+y+=+3

++2x+-+%282x-4%29+=+3

++2x+-+2x+%2B+4+=+3

4=3

That's a false statement which tells us that the system of
equations is inconsistent and if we graph the two equations,
we get a pair of parallel lines, which of course can have
no points in common:
