And then you can use the rule for factoring differences of cubes. The rules is:
x%5E3+-+a%5E3+=+%28x-a%29%28x%5E2%2Ba%2Ax%2Ba%5E2%29
Therefore,
x%5E3-2%5E3=%28x-2%29%28x%5E2%2B2%2Ax%2B4%29
