You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+3%28+w+%2B+5+%29+-+7+=+1+
Distribute the 3
+3w+%2B+15+-+7+=+1+
Combine like terms
+3w+%2B+8+=+1+
subtract 8 from both sides
+3w+=+-7+
Divide by 3
+w+=+-7%2F3+

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3( w + 5 ) - 7 = 1
first solve brackets on LHS and u get
3w + 15 - 7 = 1
3w + 8 = 1
subtract 8 from both sides and we get
3w = -7
divide both by 3 and we get
w = - 7/3
Now if you want to verify you answer ,,,you can put the values of w in the given equation and if you get LHS = RHS,,,this means that you answer is correct..
hope this will help you
