Question 318119: one more question I need help with: What is the domain of the function f(x)=2x^2-x+1
Can you explain how you got the domain? I'm lost on domains. I thought they were pretty much the x values...
So in a problem of f(a+1)= 2a^2+3a+1, using the function above, would the domain be 2? I am so lost here.... Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
So ask yourself: Are there any values that you cannot plug in? If so, then simply exclude them from the domain. If not, then the domain is the largest set we can think of: the set of real numbers.
